Chelsea wonderkid names the three players who inspired him for next step in career

Armando Broja is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Mason Mount as he ventures on his first loan deal at Vitesse Arnhem.

The 18-year-old striker made his first team and Premier League debut last season under Frank Lampard, having impressed in the FA Youth Cup and with the Development Squad.

Broja has made the switch to the Eredivisie team to get more senior experience and take the next step in his career.

The Albanian youth international follows several Chelsea players in making the move to Vitesse, becoming the 29th player to make the move between clubs on loan.

The ultimate lowdown on Thiago Silva

One of the success stories has been Mount, spending the 2017/18 campaign in the Netherlands, before being loaned to Derby County and then breaking into Chelsea's first team last season.

Broja is keen to make the same steps as the midfielder and is hoping that plenty of goals will get him there.

"I know the examples of Mason Mount, for example, but also Lewis Baker and Dominic Solanke," Broja told Vitesse's website.

"For myself I see Vitesse as the ideal club to make my first steps. I want to grow as a player and as a person.

"And above all: score a lot of goals. I will give everything for that. ”
