Billy Gilmour is one of the youngest players currently training with Chelsea's first team during pre-season but he admits that he is loving the experience.
The 18-year-old joined the Blues from Rangers in the summer of 2017 and has been a key part of the youth team's success both under Jody Morris and Joe Edwards.
Gilmour is one of the hottest prospects in the Blues academy right now and the central midfielder has also already featured for the Scotland U21s side, even though he was only 16 at the time.
Under Maurizio Sarri, he even got to train with the first team on occassions, and then was called up by Frank Lampard to join the pre-season training camp in Dublin this week.
The youngster is tipped to have a bright future ahead of him and Chelsea got him to answer some questions from supporters on their Instagram page after one of the sessions.
Gilmour was able to give fans a little insight into what the first few days of Lampard's training camp have been like.
"The first few days under the gaffer has been really good, hard working," Gilmour said. "A lot of running, but obviously it's the first time away with the first team, so it has been really good and a great experience for me.
Gilmour is a very talented midfielder, having played mainly with the U23s alongside Academy Player of the Year Conor Gallagher and George McEachran.
And the prospect of learning from Chelsea's record goalscorer, Lampard, is certainly one that he is looking forward to.
"My favourite Chelsea player growing up would probably be the gaffer [Lampard], definitely," He added. "Also I will model myself on his game, scoring goals, box-to-box midfielder. So I would definitely say the gaffer."
