The wait is almost over for Chelsea fans as Champions League football returns to west London this week.
Frank Lampard's Blues will face Spanish side Valencia in their first match back in the tournament, after a one-year absence, having finished fifth in the Premier League in the 2017/18 season.
After finishing third last season and winning the Europa League in Maurizio Sarri's sole season in charge, Chelsea are now back in the Champions League.

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard: "There is never an easy draw in the Champions League. One team was a semi-finalist last year [Ajax], Valencia are a very strong team always, and dangerous, and in Lille we have another strong team.
"Quality teams that we'll have to be fully on guard and be at our best to get through the group, because it's a strong group across the board."
New Valencia boss Albert Celades, as quoted by Marca , after being appointed: "The objective for a club like this is always to win. A club like this can't allow anything else. It's clear that what has happened isn't a normal situation."
