Chelsea vs Sheffield Utd: Prediction, tickets, live stream, TV, team news - Premier League 2019-20 preview

Chelsea vs Sheffield Utd
Premier League 2019-20
Venue: Stamford Bridge
Date: Saturday, 31st August, 2019
Kick-off time: 3pm BST

Chelsea are looking to make it two wins from two as the Blues welcome Sheffield United to the Bridge this weekend.

Frank Lampard's side claimed their first Premier League victory of the season last weekend with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Norwich City, with Tammy Abraham (two) and Mason Mount on the scoresheet.

Chelsea fans will be optimistic of another three points on Saturday, but Chris Wilder's Blades will hope to make this one a tight game after a decent start to life back in the top flight.

Chelsea team news and predicted lineups

Pedro (hamstring) and N'Golo Kante (ankle) are both out of action for Chelsea.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles) is still out along with Reece James, but ANtonio Rudiger is working back to match fitness along with Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Mason Mount (calf) is a slight doubt, but should feature.

As for the Blades, Kean Bryan is out but John Fleck is on the comeback trail.

Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, Emerson; Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount; Pulisic, Abraham, Willian

Sheff Utd XI: Henderson; Basham, Egan, O'Connell; Baldock, Lundstram, Norwood, Freeman, Stevens; McGoldrick, Robinson

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Sheff Utd

Expect another relatively tight match at the Bridge - but an increasingly Chelsea side should see off the Blades.
