Chelsea vs Newcastle United team news: Four changes for Magpies in final game

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe was forced into changes at Stamford Bridge and shuffled the pack against the Blues making four alterations to the team that drew with Leicester.

With Nick Pope injured with a hand injury, Martin Dubravka was restored between the posts. The Slovakia stopper had Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman and Matt Targett in front of him.

The midfield consisted of Elliot Anderson, Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon with Sean Longstaff not risked. Miguel Almiron, Alexander Isak and Allan Saint-Maximin formed the three-pronged attack.

On the bench Howe named Paul Dummett, Callum Wilson and Dan Burn as senior options. But it also had a youthful feel to it with Lewis Miley and Harrison Ashby on the sidelines.

Newcastle faced a Chelsea team with nothing to play for but pride at the Bridge.
