Chelsea vs Man City: FA Cup final prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds

Manchester City and Chelsea will meet in this season's FA Cup final.

Man City survived a scare in their semi-final against Southampton as they fell behind in the 79th minute. However, late goals from Jeremy Doku and Nico Gonzalez completed the comeback.

As a result, City remain on course to seal another domestic treble under Pep Guardiola with the Carabao Cup already in the bag and the Premier League title race set to go the wire.

Chelsea, meanwhile, booked their place in the final by beating Leeds in the other semi-final.

Enzo Fernandez netted the only goal of the game as the Blues - now under interim head coach Calum McFarlane - ended a difficult week on a positive note and will have the chance to inflict a third straight FA Cup final loss on Man City.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Chelsea vs Man City is scheduled for a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

The match will take place at Wembley Stadium, in London.

Chelsea vs Man City team news

Man City should have a clean bill of health by the time cup final day rolls around. Rodri missed the semi-final win as well as the victory over Burnley with a groin issue, but that is thought to be minor.

Ruben Dias is expected to return to action within the next week or so having been out for over a month with a thigh injury.

Josko Gvardiol has been sidelined since January when he suffered a fractured tibia in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea, but should be available for selection very soon.

Chelsea will be without talented youngster Estevao for the FA Cup final after the Brazilian was ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury sustained in the 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

Captain Reece James, however, faces a race against the clock to recover from a hamstring injury to lead the side out at Wembley.

Chelsea vs Man City prediction

While the FA Cup final is still a couple of weeks away and Man City have some difficult Premier League matches to encounter before the Wembley showpiece, it's hard to look past them lifting the trophy.

Chelsea were much improved against Leeds and could relish being the underdogs in the final - much like they were against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final.

However, we expect City to have extra motivation from losing successive FA Cup finals and that will prove decisive in completing the second part of a potential domestic treble.

Man City to win, 1-0.

Head to head (h2h) history and results
