Chelsea vs Liverpool prediction and odds: Mo Salah can put dent on former club's title hopes before AFCON duties

The title challenge is slipping away for both Liverpool and Chelsea as both sides prepare for what could be an epic six-pointer in the title race where a draw is out of the question.

The Reds are 33/20 with Grosvenor Sport while hosts Chelsea are also 33/20 and a draw is 49/20.

Jurgen Klopp's side will be fuming to let a result slip away at the King Power Stadium after losing to a makeshift Leicester City under the guidance of former boss Brendan Rodgers.

The Reds still in with a chance of maintaining their title fight but are currently 12 points behind Manchester City but have two games-in-hand against the league leaders and one against this weekend's hosts.

Chelsea have had a disastrous December, one the European champions will want to forget as they find themselves only a point ahead of their visitors.
