A potentially intriguing tactical battle awaits, as the Stamford Bridge club have dominated matches without creating too many clear scoring chances under Tuchel - while Ancelotti’s side have returned to form partly as a result of tightening up defensively, keeping three clean sheets in succession. Just one point and place separates the sides ahead of kick-off, with Chelsea in fourth having played a game more.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.

When is the game?

The match kicks off at 6pm on Monday, 8 March at Stamford Bridge.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be screened live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate.

Confirmed line-ups

CHE - Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma; James, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Havertz, Hudson-Odoi; Werner

EVE - Pickford, Holgate, Godfrey, Keane, Digne, Allan, Gomes, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Odds

Chelsea - 3/5

Draw - 16/5

Everton - 6/1

Prediction

Carlo Ancelotti’s side won’t make it easy for the Blues but Chelsea look confident and have a good game plan right now which will see them dominate the 90 minutes. They still need to develop a more clinical edge, but should just edge the match here. Chelsea 2-1 Everton.
