Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Prediction, tickets, team news, TV, live stream, H2H, odds - Premier League preview

Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge on Saturday in the last game before the final international break of 2019.

The Blues are currently the Premier League's in-form side having won their last five games on the bounce - a run of results which has lifted them to within just two points of second place Manchester City.

Palace enter their fourth game in a row against one of the league's current top five - falling short against City and Leicester in that period but claiming a valuable point away to Arsenal in between those defeats.

Chelsea are out to win their sixth consecutive league game for the first time since lifting the trophy in May 2017.

Team news and predicted line-ups

N'Golo Kante is set to make his return from injury on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old has not featured for the Blues since 6 October with the midfielder ordered to rest in a bid to cure a series of injuries which have undermined his season to date.

Kante’s latest groin complaint follows knee, ankle and hamstring problems which have restricted him to just six appearances in all competitions this season.

But he was fit enough to make the bench in Tuesday’s Champions League win over Ajax and is set to replace Jorginho, who is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Watford last weekend.

Mason Mount and Ross Barkley have both been included in Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad despite the pair suffering ankle injuries. The severity of Mount’s injury is yet to be determined while Barkley was training earlier this week. His availability is not yet clear. Andreas Christensen (hamstring) is expected to be available for selection but Antonio Rudiger (pelvis) is out until after the international break.

Chelsea possible (4-3-3): Kepa, Azpilicueta, Tomori, Zouma, Emerson; Kovacic, Kante, Mount; Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.

Crystal Palace team news

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1

Chelsea have been at their most convincing on the road this season but should have enough to put away a resilient Palace side on their own turf.
