The Frank Lampard era truly begins this evening as the Chelsea legend makes his debut in the first-team dugout.
Lampard takes over from Maurizio Sarri, who—despite an at-times chaotic year in England—left the club in a strong position as Europa League winners and with Champions League football for the 2019-20 season.
The Stamford Bridge icon will take charge of his first match as manager against Bohemians and plenty of Chelsea youngsters will be out to impress their new boss, especially with the squad going through a transition period given the Fifa transfer ban coupled with the sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid.
