Chelsea U23s player ratings: Antonio Rudiger impresses in late draw as he steps up his fitness

Jamie Cumming

Good save to deny Rodel Richards moments after the opener and was kept very quiet from there on. Stopped Spurs from adding to their lead in the final few seconds as he saved from Tracey. 6

Tariq Lamptey

Gave away a penalty shortly after Tottenham's opener as he tripped Tracey in the box. Got forward a number of times with some good runs but his delivery was lacking at times. Was the hero at the end as the right-back found the bottom corner with a low strike. 8

Antonio Rudiger

Kept things neat and tidy in the opening half and headed a couple of balls across the box from corners that his teammates unfortunately couldn't capitalise on. Had a few surging runs forward and saw his header cleared off the line after the break. 7

Marc Guehi

Didn't have much to do after Spurs went 2-0 up as it was all Chelsea. 5

Henry Lawrence

Couldn't stop Tracey down his flank in the first half as he teed up Phoenix Patterson for the opener. Managed to get forward a lot more in the second half and put in some decent balls from the left. 5

Thierno Ballo

Created a yard of space for himself in the box with some brilliant footwork but the finish was lacking as he shot high and wide. Attempted an effort from distance after the break but it didn't trouble the goalkeeper. 5

Chelsea v Sheffield United: Frank Lampard pre-match press conference

Clinton Mola

Better after the restart as he looked to get his team moving forward with some good passing. Got his team back into the game with a driving run right through the heart of the Spurs side before finding the bottom corner. 7

George McEachran

Saw an early shot blocked after Rudiger's header across the area and put in a good cross just before the break that was cut out. Saw more of the ball late on as he tried to make things happen. 6

Tariq Uwakwe

Quiet in the opening half with Spurs dominating play but came into the game as it wore on. Forced Alfie Whiteman into a fine save after the break with his shot looking destined for the corner. 7

Tino Anjorin

Almost got one back for the Blues prior to half-time as his powerful shot went over via the slightest of deflections before volleying over from Rudiger's cross. 6

Charlie Brown

Had a tough time up against TJ Eyoma and Brooklyn Lyons-Foster and had limited chances on goal. Just couldn't keep his header down in the second half and will probably feel he should have done better. 5

Substitutes

Marcel Lewis (Tino Anjorin, 78)

Not much time to make an impact. 4

Armando Broja (Charlie Brown, 82)
