Chelsea transfer rumours: Blues eye Kepa replacement as Lampard considers two strikers

Chelsea continue to fight for a Champions League spot.

The Blues went down to a defeat to Sheffield United over the weekend but still sit in a promising position for the top four.

Qualifying for the Champions League would also bolster their transfer plans for the summer as they would be a more attractive prospect to players.

Here are all the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Blues want Henderson

The Express claim Chelsea will ask Manchester United to name their price for Dean Henderson having lost patience with Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Lampard frustrated after Sheffield United thrashing

Kepa has endured a difficult second season at Stamford Bridge whilst Henderson has impressed on loan at Sheffield United.

The Blades are keen to keep Henderson on loan for next season whilst United view him as a long-term replacement for David de Gea.

Yet Henderson's desire to play regular first-team football in the short-term could well give the Blues a chance to seal his signature.

Jovic weighed up

Muno Deportivo report that Chelsea are weighing up a move for Luka Jovic during the summer transfer window.

The Serbian has been out of favour at Real Madrid, having made just 16 appearances during his debut season in La Liga.

He has scored just two league goals and Madrid are understood to be open to offers for him, despite having spent £54m to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

With Chelsea looking to bolster their front line in the summer, they could well look to strike a deal for him.

Yet Leicester City, AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli have all also shown an interest.

Ikone talks

Le 10 Sport claim that the Blues are also eyeing up another striker.

Lille star Jonathan Ikone has previously been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, but Chelsea have now also been credited with an interest in him.

Ikone has impressed for Lille in Ligue 1 this season and earned him a call up to the France squad.

Inter Milan are also interested in the player.
