Chelsea have been among the biggest movers in the summer transfer window thus far, bolstering their ranks with the captures of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
The Blues are not stopping there though, with Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz lined-up as the next man through the door for Frank Lampard's side.
Attention will then switch towards bolstering the defence, with a number of players linked with a move to Stamford Bridge before the start of the new season.
Here, we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding the Blues.
Ben Chilwell closing in on move
Chelsea are closing in on a move to bring England international Ben Chilwell to the club from Leicester City, which would bring an end to a lengthy transfer saga.
The Blues have identified the full-back as their prime target for a defensive overhaul but the Foxes have proven to be tough negotiators, demanding a fee of £80m for his services.
The Independent states Chelsea are hoping to reduce the fee with a structured deal and are inching closer towards bringing Chilwell to west London.
For his part, Chilwell is said to be keen on completing a transfer and is looking forward to playing in the Champions League with the Blues next term.
Lewis Dunk lined-up
It seems Ben Chilwell isn't the only defensive addition lined-up by Frank Lampard, as the Sun reports Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Lewis Dunk from Brighton.
The Seagulls skipper is said to have also attracted interest from Tottenham but Chelsea are poised to beat their London rivals in the hunt for a £40m deal.
Dunk is a lifelong Chelsea fan and is said to be confident that he will complete a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea switching their attention away from West Ham's Declan Rice.
The Hammers are demanding a fee of around £80m for Rice, which Chelsea are not prepared to pay and have therefore switched targets.
Ben Foster targeted
Chelsea are lining-up a surprise move for Watford stopper Ben Foster but face competition in the market from Everton, according to the Sun.
The 37-year-old stopper was relegated with the Hornets last season but could be given the opportunity to continue his long career in the Premier League.
Chelsea are looking for a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga and Foster has emerged as a surprise candidate to make a move to Stamford Bridge.
If he were to make a move, it's stated that Foster would battle fellow veteran Willy Caballero for the first-choice role in Frank Lampard's side.
