Chelsea’s big summer continues as they make preparations for the new Premier League season.
The 2020/21 campaign gets underway in less than a month’s time, and there could be plenty of new faces heading to Stamford Bridge before then.
The Blues already have Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner through the door, while plenty more players have been linked.
Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from Stamford Bridge.
Leverkusen firm on Havertz
Bayer Leverkusen have told Chelsea they will not budge from their £90m valuation of Kai Havertz, according to reports.
The midfielder is being touted for a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues seemingly in pole position to strike a deal.
But they look to have hit a stumbling block over the fee, with the Evening Standard reporting Leverkusen aren't willing to take any less than £90m.
That’s despite Havertz telling the Bundesliga side he is ready for a new challenge.
Date set for Emerson departure
Chelsea have set a date for Emerson to secure a transfer away from the club, according to Sky Sports.
The left-back is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer as Frank Lampard targets a new left-back, with Ben Chilwell top of the list.
Inter Milan are said to be trying to tie up a deal, but are waiting until the end of the Europa League after making it to the final.
Emerson is said to be former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s top target, with Lampard happy to accept his defender’s move to Inter.
Leeds consider Batshuayi bid
Reports in Belgium have suggested Leeds are considering making a bid for Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues frontman is firmly down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, and looks set to be on the move this summer.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Marcelo Bielsa is keen to work with Batshuayi again, having had him as a player at Marseille, and the Whites are weighing up a bid of £22.6m.
Chelsea have supposedly already offered the player to Leeds, with the report claiming the Blues 'definitely want to get rid' of the player.
