Chelsea have been offered the chance to re-sign Real Madrid flop and former Blue Eden Hazard, if they offer Reece James in exchange, it has been reported.
It comes as the Blues prepare for what could be a busy January transfer window as they look to offset a number of potential departures away from Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel's side could face a defensive crisis with Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen all free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1 with their contracts set to expire at the end of the season,
And at least one of those stars could sign for Barcelona, it has been reported, while Chelsea could also swoop for Leeds United's Raphina to improve their options in attack.

Defensive blow
Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has reportedly stopped negotiations over a new contract at Stamford Bridge amid interest from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Sport reports Christensen is looking to make a decision over his future in January, but Barca have put a move for the defender on hold while they explore the possibility of signing Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.
It means the Blues have been forced to wait in order to find out if Christensen will be staying at the club.
The defender has reportedly been in talks with Barcelona for several months, with Bayern Munich and Juventus also said to be monitoring his contract situation.
Raphinha interest
Chelsea hold a "strong interest" in Leeds United and Brazil winger Raphinha, it has been reported.
According to Sport Italia reporter Gianluigi Longari [via Football.London ], Chelsea and many "other top clubs" are following the Brazilian's progress at Elland Road and could make a move for the winger.
The Blues have been linked with several wingers ahead of the January transfer window, although any deal for Raphina may have to wait until the end of the season, it is claimed.
Competition for Raphinha's signature could be fierce however, with Manchester United reportedly also interested in signing the player.
Eden Hazard swap offered
Real Madrid want to swap former Blues star Eden Hazard for full-back Reece James, according to reports.
Spanish news outlet El Nacional claims that James is wanted by Los Blancos, who could offer former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard in exchange for his services.
The Spanish newspaper reports that Carlo Ancelotti has asked Madrid president Florentino Perez to make a move for James in a bid to provide cover for Dani Carvajal.
They hope to kill two birds with one stone by getting Hazard's huge wages off the books and by securing the signature of James, although Blues owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly not keen to sanction James' departure.
