Although Chelsea's current squad carries a very settled feel, there's potential for a lot of changes to take place in the coming months.
A number of defenders have contracts that are set to expire at the end of the campaign, while one young player in particular has been excelling out on loan in the Premier League so far this season.
As a result, there's plenty of transfer buzz around the Blues at the moment. And while the January window is edging closer and closer, a busy summer looks as though it may be on the cards.

Will Gallagher be in the Blues first team next season? Let us know in the comments below!

Conor Gallagher warning
Former England manager Sam Allardyce has issued a warning to Chelsea regarding the development of Conor Gallagher.
The midfielder has been in excellent form on loan at Crystal Palace this season, with his brace against Everton on Sunday taking him to six goals for the campaign.
Gallagher's all-action displays have triggered some questions from Chelsea fans as to what he could potentially offer in the first team next season. But Allardyce thinks the 21-year-old needs to be handled carefully.
"I’d want to come back and give it a go and I think on his form at the moment and you have to bear in mind now he made his England debut, he’s an England international," he said, per TalkSport (h/t Metro).
"He would want to go back and try and get in the team but I think if you do that, you’ve got to play enough first team games because if you don’t you can easily fall backwards like Jesse Lingard."
Barcelona in for Chelsea trio
According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t ESPN FC ), Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Christian Pulisic are all Barcelona targets.
The former duo are among the many Chelsea players who have contracts expiring at the end of the season, while Pulisic has found minutes difficult to come by this term due to injury and a number of players ahead of him in the pecking order.
While Barcelona would not have to pay a transfer fee for Rudiger nor Azpilicueta if they agreed a pre-contract from January, the wage demands of the pair would likely make it difficult for them to get any deal over the line.
Christensen close to renewal
As relayed by Sport Witness, reports from Spain and Italy appear to indicate that Andreas Christensen is close to signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
Mundo Deportivo claim that Barcelona were considering Christensen, but he's now "very close" to agreeing fresh terms with Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Calciomercato credit Milan with an interest in the Dane but say the negotiations between the defender and the Blues are "well underway."
Christensen progressed through the Blues academy and has become an important player for the club in recent years, offering an assertiveness and assurance at the heart of the Chelsea defence.
