Chelsea transfer news: Nahitan Nandez bid eyed, £80m transfer demand made

All eyes are on Chelsea's FA Cup final against Arsenal this weekend.

The Blues have already qualified for the Champions League but winning a trophy during Frank Lampard's first season in charge will go a long way to proving to potential transfer targets that they have the capability to challenge teams.

Chelsea have already been active in the transfer market this summer but look set to remain busy ahead of a quick turnaround before next season.

With that in mind, here are the latest Chelsea transfer rumours.

Ivanovic to make Premier League return

Serbian newspaper Novosti claims Branislav Ivanovic is set to make a shock return to the Premier League.

Frank Lampard on impact of Champions League on transfers

The former Chelsea defender made over 250 appearances in a nine-year spell at Stamford Bridge before leaving for Zenit St Petersburg in 2017.

He is now a free agent having been released by the Russian club and reports in his home country say he is close to reuniting with former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.

Aged 36, his Premier League days seemed far behind him and a move to Goodison Park would be an eye-catching transfer.

Midfielder linked

Chelsea may be well stacked with midfielders but they have been linked with a surprise move for Cagliari's Nahitan Nandez.

Corriere dello Sport claim the Blues have interest in the midfielder along with West Ham and Arsenal.

Napoli are said to be the front runners for the 24-year-old.

He has enjoyed an impressive debut season in European football following last year's move to Italy from Boca Juniors and his contract contains a €36m release clause.

Chilwell demand

The Mirror report that Ben Chilwell will tell Leicester CIty he wants to move to Chelsea in a bid to force through his Stamford Bridge transfer.

Leicester continue to play hardball over their left-back, who has long been linked with a move to the Blues.

It means a deal for the England full-back has yet to be completed but he is said to see his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

The Foxes are currently under no pressure to sell, however, meaning Chilwell will not come cheaply.
