Chelsea head into the summer transfer window under the cloud of a Fifa transfer ban, but with the added bonus of having already secured Champions League football for next season.
While the Premier League season may have ended on a high note on the pitch for the Blues as they finished third and also set up a Europa League Final against Arsenal, the club is set to face a transfer embargo as things stand.
Chelsea's appeal against a two-winder transfer ban was rejected by Fifa last week, and the west London club are now taking their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport - and CAS could postpone the punishment while the process is carried out.
Regardless of whether Chelsea can sign players, Eden Hazard looks increasingly likely to leave for Real Madrid - if the Spanish giants match Chelsea's asking price of over £100million, that is.
Standard Sport reported late last week that Real are feeling more under pressure to get a deal done after a dismal end to the season and two failed bids that fell well short of the valuation. A bid closer to £100m was expected.
However, Sky Sports have now reported that Chelsea will let Hazard go for £130m, way above Real's current valuation of £88m.
