Chelsea transfer latest: Danny Drinkwater, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Davide Zappacosta could leave before deadline

Deadline day will be pretty quiet at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea banned by Fifa from registering new players.

The only thing of interest is who they let go and the futures of three senior squad players are under scrutiny in particular.

Chelsea are open to offers for Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko, who were signed for a combined £75million in 2017.

Norwich and Brighton have both declared an interest over a loan deal for Drinkwater and it is believed the latter is the more serious enquiry of the two.

Galatasaray are one of the sides that have made a loan bid for Bakayoko, while right-back Davide Zappacosta will be allowed to return to Serie A if an acceptable offer is made.

Chelsea summer ins and outs

In: Mateo Kovacic (Real Madrid, £40m).

Out: Eden Hazard (Real Madrid, £89m rising up to £130m); Alvaro Morata (Atletico Madrid, £58m); Ola Aina (Torino, £8.7m); Tomas Kalas (Bristol City, £8m); Kasey Palmer (Bristol City, £3.5m); Jay Dasilva (Bristol City, £2m); Gary Cahill (Crystal Palace, free); Jake Clarke-Salter (Birmingham, loan); Ethan Ampadu (RB Leipzig, loan); Charly Musonda (Vitesse Arnhem, loan); Eduardo (Braga, free); Marcin Bulka (PSG, free).
