Chelsea transfer gossip: Moises Caicedo banned from training as Hakim Ziyech price tag set

Chelsea have been by far the busiest Premier League club in the transfer window, having already completed six January signings.

Benoit Badiashile, David Fofana, Andrey Santos, Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk have made the switch to Stamford Bridge so far, with the latter joining in a deal set to be worth £87million. But Todd Boehly doesn't want to stop there and eyeing another couple of transfers before the window slams shut.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for Malo Gusto and a move is expected to be completed - although he won't arrive until the end of the season. Meanwhile, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez continue to be tipped with a switch to Chelsea as Graham Potter tries to bolster his midfield. There could be some outgoings, too, with Hakim Ziyech among those that could leave the club.

Here are the rumours coming out of Stamford Bridge.

Brighton issue Caicedo statement

Brighton have issued a stay-at-home warning to midfielder Moises Caicedo as he attempts to manufacture a transfer before Tuesday's deadline.

The Ecuadorian midfielder is at the heart of a huge furore with a number of clubs chasing his services. Chelsea have been noted as having an interest, whilst Arsenal have also reportedly had a big-money bid rejected by the Seagulls.

Caicedo attempted to take matters into his own hands alongside his new representatives after issuing a statement appealing for Brighton to let him leave. The 21-year-old took to social media on Friday evening with just a matter of days until the window closes.

Brighton have now made a decision over his future following the statement. According to a number of reports, the Seagulls have told Caicedo to stay away from their training ground until the end of the January transfer window.

Blues agree Gusto deal

Chelsea have agreed a £26million deal to sign Lyon full-back Malo Gusto - but he won’t arrive until the end of the season.

The Blues have already splashed out over £200million on transfers this month and earmarked the 19-year-old as their No.1 alternative to Reece James, who is currently out injured. Initially, the Blues had been reticent to settle on taking Gusto - who only has 18 months left on his Lyon deal - only in the summer.

But with the talented youngster having also been watched by the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent months, they have elected to meet Lyon’s asking price of £26million (€30m).

Chelsea set Ziyech price tag

Chelsea reportedly want just €20million (£17.6m) for Hakim Ziyech in January - and they might even accept a lower offer.

It has been claimed that the Blues are willing to let the Morocco international, 29, leave the club on a permanent deal only. It is believed they have named their price but are willing to go lower during negotiations.

There are a queue of clubs lining up to sign Ziyech, according to reports. Jose Mourinho's Roma, who are willing to let Bournemouth target Nicolo Zaniolo leave the club in January, and Serie A champions AC Milan both want the experienced campaigner.

Meanwhile, Everton are also reportedly lining up a move for Ziyech with Anthony Gordon set to join Newcastle.
