The Football Association has taken Fifa to court over Chelsea’s recent transfer ban, with the case set to be heard next month.
An updated list of hearings shows that The Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] will consider the FA’s complaint on 26 June.
In February 2019, Fifa found Chelsea guilty of a serious and systemic breach of the rules regarding their dealings with overseas players under the age of 18.
Chelsea were banned from the transfer market for two windows, although the club immediately said they would appeal and their ban and fine was reduced following an appeal to the highest court in sport.
The FA was also found to have breached rules in connection with minors and was fined, although this punishment was also reduced on appeal.
Fifa also gave the FA six months “to address the situation concerning the international transfer and first registration of minors in football.”
The FA said that it would appeal the punishment.
An FA spokesperson told The Independent: “The FA has cooperated fully with Fifa’s investigation. As this is an ongoing legal process it would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
