Chelsea told why Todd Boehly must gift Thomas Tuchel dream Neymar transfer amid PSG worry

Todd Boehly has been told why Chelsea must sign Neymar, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly willing to sell the 30-year-old this summer. The French giants are ready to offload the Brazil international this summer as part of a rebuild at Les Parc des Princes, according to Sky Sports and Spanish outlet AS.

The report claims that PSG are prepared to take a loss on the world-record fee that they paid Barcelona in 2017. Neymar could be sold for as little as £76million this summer, handing the Parisians an eye-watering £122m loss.

However, the quoted fee is thought to be a benchmark sum that club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will begin negotiations at. Therefore should multiple clubs throw their hats in the ring, then the price for the 30-year-old could be pushed higher.

As part of PSG's mission to relinquish the club of Neymar's services, Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign the Brazilian, according to the Evening Standard. The French giants' offer follows Boehly's intent to 'push for A-list signings', marking a new era at Stamford Bridge, the MailOnline claim.

And, according to Rivaldo, via Betfair, the Blues were told why Neymar should be brought to Stamford Bridge. The Brail legend said: "At 30 years old, he still has a couple of more seasons at the highest European level, and even if he leaves PSG, I'm sure he will continue to show all his magnificent skills in Europe on a regular basis."

Rivaldo noted that Neymar would be in no rush to join the Blues due to the natural enticement. He said: "It's still unclear if the rumours are true about PSG possibly selling Neymar this summer, but I imagine that the Brazilian star won't be too worried because he knows that even if he leaves the French club, he will always have a lot of big clubs looking to sign him, including Chelsea.

"Neymar continues to be one of the best players in the world and has no reason to worry about leaving a club, as he would probably have a lot of big clubs fighting for Champions League success chasing his services."
