Chelsea told how much they will have to pay to complete Sergio Reguilon transfer this summer

frank Lampard is keen to strengthen in a number of positions this summer.

With Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner already signed, and Kai Havertz expected to join them, the Chelsea head coach is likely to turn his attentions to his defence ahead of the September start of the new season.

Left-back is a key area for concern for the Blues supporters, and Chelsea have been linked with a number of different players, with Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell chief among them.

However, Real Madrid's Sergio Reguilon has also been mentioned in dispatches and he would come much cheaper than Chilwell.

Leicester have slapped an £80million price tag on the Englishman's shoulders and that may just lead Lampard to look elsewhere.

Reguilon has spent the 2019/20 season on loan with Madrid's La Liga rivals Sevilla and been in impressive form.

He has made 36 appearances for Sevilla, scoring three goals and helping the club to the semi-finals of the Europa League, where they will play Manchester United.

According to reports in Spain he is unlikely to force his way into Zinedine Zidane's plans when next season starts, leading to transfer speculation, with Chelsea tracking his situation.

And the Blues have been told how much it will cost them to sign the 23-year-old this summer.

According to AS Real would ask for a fee in the region of €25million (£22.5million) for any interested parties to sign him, which would be a huge saving on Chilwell.

But Chelsea would be signing someone who has never played in the Premier League before, adding to the likes of Ziyech, Werner and Havertz in that regard.
