We are heading into the final week of the January transfer window and Chelsea are yet to make a signing.
Frank Lampard was unable to make moves during the summer window because of a transfer embargo handed down by FIFA as a result of the Blues' dealings for youth players.
That was supposed to be a two-window embargo, but after appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport it was reduced to one, meaning new signings can arrive this month.
However, Lampard has yet to make a move in the market.
Although that may not be down to him.
The head coach made a pointed comment following the FA Cup win over Hull City on Saturday evening.
Speaking to BT Sport, he said: "Recruitment, when you've missed a window is of course important and for the short-term for us, it feels important now, so that's something we are working on and we have to get it right."
And as we enter the final days of the window, Chelsea are expected to be busy.
One player they have bee linked with in the media is Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens.
Gosens scored a sensational left-foot volley from the edge of the box as the Italian side thrashed Torino 7-0 in Serie A on Saturday.
Chelsea have reportedly scouted the player, with the futures of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri unclear at Stamford Bridge.
And the Blues have been told how much they will have to stump up if they are to sign the full-back who has eight goals to his name already this season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by Football Italia, the 25-year-old will be allowed to leave Bergamo in the summer for a fee in the region of €30million, which works out at around £25.3million at the current rate of exchange.
