Chelsea tipped to sign Philippe Coutinho ahead of Man United, Tottenham and Liverpool

The future of former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is the subject of much speculation ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but has been linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, with Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United among the clubs named as potential suitors.

And Chelsea have been cut to 7/4 to sign Coutinho with 888sport after reports that Barcelona have offered the Brazilian to the Blues.

Coutinho has endured a miserable time at the Nou Camp since moving from Liverpool in 2018, and has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich.

The most expensive Premier League transfers ever

Despite the German club retaining an option to sign Coutinho permanently, it appears neither they or Barcelona want Coutinho – which could open the door for Chelsea to swoop in.

The Blues have struggled for creativity at times this season, and moving to bring the attacking midfielder back to England could be a perfect move for all parties.

Manchester United are the second favourites to sign Coutinho – priced at 5/1, with Tottenham rated as 7/1 to sign the Brazlian.

Meanwhile, a move back to former club Liverpool remains a possibility, according to the bookmakers, with the Reds priced at 9/1.

Chelsea have already made one move ahead of the summer, with Ajax star Hakim Ziyech set to join when the transfer window opens on July 1.
