Chelsea will give influential midfielder N’Golo Kante a late fitness test before deciding whether he is fit to face Arsenal.
The France international, who has not played for the first team since suffering a hamstring strain against Watford on May 5, twisted his knee in training on Saturday.
It was initially feared that he’d suffered ligament damage, but a scan the following day confirmed that the problem is not as bad as first feared.
Kante travelled with the rest of the Chelsea squad to Azerbaijan last night, but his involvement in the final is still in doubt. Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic will start alongside Jorginho in midfield should coach Maurizio Sarri decide not to take the risk.
The Italian is already without Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and defender Antonio Rudiger, all of whom have undergone surgery following injuries sustained late in the Blues season.
