Chelsea team confirmed vs West Ham: Olivier Giroud starts, Azpilicueta and Kante dropped

After their crazy Champions League clash with Valencia on Wednesday night, Chelsea are back in Premier League action this afternoon against West Ham.

The Blues the looking to get back to winning ways in the league, having lost to current champions Manchester City last time out.

West Ham are on an awful run at the moment, so Frank Lampard will be hoping that his side can take advantage and get all three points.

They will have to do it without top scorer Tammy Abraham, however, who picked up a hip injury at the Mestalla and Frank Lampard confirmed that he would not be fit in time for this match.

He is replaced in the starting XI by Olivier Giroud, who has been given the nod ahead of Michy Batshuayi with Abraham not in the side.

Here is the full Chelsea team as the Blues host the Hammers at Stamford Bridge:

Chelsea: Kepa, James, Tomori, Zouma, Emerson, Jorginho, Mount, Kovacic; Pulisic, Pedro, Giroud.

Subs: Caballero, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Kante, Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Batsuayi.
