Chelsea team confirmed vs Krasnodar: Tino Anjorin makes full debut as Lampard shuffles side

It’s a massive night for Tino Anjorin who makes his first Chelsea start for the senior team.

The young forward comes into the side for the dead-rubber Champions League match against Krasnodar at Stamford Bridge.

With nothing riding on the game for either side, Frank Lampard had heavily rotated his side and has given the academy product a full debut.

The England youth international got a taste of first team action last season in the Carabao Cup, before making his Premier League bow in the win over before coronavirus halted the campaign.

Anjorin has struggled with a back injury earlier in the season, he also captained the U18s last year, but tonight he gets an opportunity with the seniors.

As confirmed by Lampard in his press conference yesterday, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Billy Gilmour also start against the Russians.

Once again, 2,000 Chelsea fans will be allowed inside the stadium, and no doubt many eyes will be on Anjorin’s performance.

Check out the full Chelsea team below:

Chelsea: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger, Emerson; Gilmour, Jorginho, Kovacic; Anjorin, Abraham, Havertz
