Chelsea team confirmed vs Burnley: Christian Pulisic starts as Callum Hudson-Odoi drops to bench

Frank Lampard has named his Chelsea team for this evening's Premier League clash against Burnley.

The Blues travel to Lancashire on the back of six successive wins in all competitions and they will be looking to add to it when they take on Sean Dyche's side.

Although the Europa League holders did record a 4-0 triumph at Turf Moor 12 months ago, it will be far from straightforward as the hosts have won three of their four league games at home this campaign.

And Lampard has made one change from the team that beat Ajax on Wednesday, with Callum Hudson-Odoi dropping to the substitutes' bench in favour of Christian Pulisic coming into the starting lineup.

Lampard is well aware of the threat that Burnley pose and he knows that his side will be in for a "tough" match.

"It’s a really tough place to go. I respect them completely," he said at his pre-match press conference

"In terms of you saying scary, I think they have a really strong way of playing.

"They are well drilled, efficient in our they get the ball into the box, with two strikers they give you big problems. "They are fantastic the two strikers, the way they play together.

"It is a tough match, we respect every team and you have to respect the strengths of them.

"That is the job, we have had a tight turnaround, so it is a huge focus on recovery, getting the team fit and ready to go.

"It will be a physical battle and probably the most important part of the game to see what Burnley can do to us and what we can do to them, that’s hopefully where we are at, but I expect a tough match."

Here's the team he has picked for this evening's game:

Chelsea team vs Burnley: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Tomori, Zouma, Alonso, Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic. Subs: Caballero, Guehi, James, Pedro, Hudson-Odoi, Giroud, Batshuayi.
