Frank Lampard has named his first ever Chelsea starting XI for their pre-season friendly against Bohemian FC.

With the majority of the first team squad having only joined up with the training camp on Monday, it is something of a mixed team from the Blues legend.

Tonight is the first game of a busy summer for the club, as they take on St Patrick’s Athletic on Saturday afternoon before flying out to Japan for the second part of their pre-season.

You can follow live coverage of on football.london as the new Blues boss make his debut as manager in Dublin.

Lampard ’s side are back in England for one match at Reading and then travel to Austria to face RB Salzburg and Germany to take on Borussia Monchengladbach.

None of the players who arrived on Monday will feature tonight at Dalymount Park, while the squad will be made up of those who have been out in Ireland since Friday.

But here is Lampard’s first ever starting XI as he commences his reign as Chelsea head coach:

Chelsea for the first half: Caballero, Azpilicueta, Ampadu, Guehi, Sterling, Gallagher, Drinkwater, Palmer, Kenedy, Pedro, Batshuayi.
