After 105 days away from Premier League action, Chelsea are back with a trip to Aston Villa.
Before the break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Blues had put in fine performances against Liverpool and Everton.
However, they now have to restart their season in the push for the top four, with nine games remaining to get a Champions League place.
The Blues were given a boost over the weekend with Manchester United and Tottenham both dropping points against each other.
A win at Villa Park means that Chelsea would go five points clear in the race for the top four and give them some breathing space.
There’s a boost for Frank Lampard in the form of N’Golo Kante coming back into the starting XI after his injury concerns and worries over returning to action.
Meanwhile, Antonio Rudiger is in the starting XI, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is part of the squad to take on the Villains.
Here is the full Chelsea line up below for their first game back.
Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen, Alonso; Kante, Kovacic, Loftus-Cheek, Mount, Giroud, Willian.
Subs: Caballero, James, Emerson, Zouma, Gilmour, Barkley, Pedro, Pulisic, Abraham.
