Chelsea team confirmed vs Ajax: Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mateo Kovacic start

Chelsea take on Ajax tonight in the Champions League looking to secure their second win of the Group H campaign.

There has been a lot of discussion of the way that Frank Lampard might set his side up tonight, with the fact that the Blues will be keen to get at least a point.

Lampard is once again without N'Golo Kante, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Ross Barkley and Pedro, who are all back in England and didn't travel.

It means that youngster Billy Gilmour is on the bench for the Blues, with the chance that he might make a Champions League appearance if needed.

It means that Mateo Kovacic comes back into the starting XI for Lampard as he looks to try to dominate the midfield against an excellent Ajax team.

Callum Hudson-Odoi also starts for the Blues, with Willian on the right and Tammy Abraham up front.

Chelsea: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Alonso; Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount; Willian, Abraham, Hudson-Odoi.

Subs: Caballero, Emerson, James, Pulisic, Gilmour, Giroud, Batshuayi.
