Chelsea team confirmed at Watford: Emerson and Pulisic start, Hudson-Odoi benched

Chelsea take on Watford this afternoon at Vicarage Road looking to make it five Premier League wins in a row.

The Blues lost their winning run in all competitions in a 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday, and will be looking to bounce back from that defeat.

However, Frank Lampard will have to do it without N'Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who are all still recovering from injuries.

But Emerson Palmieri is back from his long-term injury, which comes as a boost for Lampard to give him more choice in the left-back position, with Marcos Alonso playing several matches in a row.

After Manchester United lost to Bournemouth in the early kick off, the Blues could go ten points above them in the league with a victory this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Watford are yet to get their first win in the Premier League this season with Quique Sanchez Flores in charge.

Below is how Lampard has set up his Chelsea team:

Chelsea: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Tomori, Zouma, Emerson, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic.

Subs: Caballero, Alonso, James, Gilmour, Hudson-Odoi, Giroud, Batshuayi.
