Chelsea team confirmed at Manchester United: Mount & Abraham start but Pulisic benched

Chelsea get their 2019/20 Premier League campaign under way this afternoon with a tough test at Manchester United.

The Blues have travelled to Old Trafford with a decent pre-season behind them, but there is obviously a new era at the club with Frank Lampard the new head coach.

Chelsea's new boss walks out for the first time in the league in charge and has picked a youthful starting XI to get his season started.

With David Luiz's shock deadline day move to Arsenal, Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma start in defence with Cesar Azpilicueta and Emerson Palmieri also playing in front of Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal.

With N'Golo Kante still looking to get match fit, he is not in the starting XI and Lampard goes with Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho in the centre of midfield.

Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham leads the line for the Blues and behind him, Pedro, Ross Barkley and Mason Mount are the attacking players to add the creativity.
