Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent has revealed the future of the Senegal defender will be resolved this week amid interest from Chelsea.
Antonio Conte’s side had a £42.5m offer for the 25-year-old rejected by Napoli earlier this week, with the Italian side holding out for a fee closer to £50m. Arsenal and Everton have also registered an interest in the product of the Metz youth academy, although they are not expected to follow that up.
The Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has offered Koulibaly a lucrative new contract but his agent Bruno Satin revealed they will make a decision over his client’s future in “the next few days”.
“Although our discussions at the moment are confidential,” Satin told Goal.com. “We will be able to announce something in the next few days, two or three days.”
