Chelsea supporters have noticed what Callum Hudson-Odoi has done since returning from injury

Callum Hudson-Odoi's return from injury has been nothing short of sensational.

The Chelsea wonderkid's breakthrough 2018/2019 campaign was curtailed in April has he suffered an Achilles injury during the 2-2 draw against Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

Such was the severity of the injury that the teenager missed the Europa League final win over Arsenal, pre-season training under new head coach Frank Lampard as well as the first month of the new season.

But he's back and has picked up from where he left off.

On Tuesday night he dazzled at the Stadium MK with a brace for the England U21's in their 5-1 win over their Austria counterparts.

Hudson-Odoi's performance prompted a Chelsea fan on Twitter to bring up the winger's goal involvement in every game his featured in so far this season - including academy games - and the list is impressive.

The 18-year-old has either scored or assisted in each of his seven appearances thus far.

This includes a goal and an assist in his two games for the Under-23's as well as finding the back of the net on his return to first-team action in the 7-1 win over Grimsby Town.

Furthermore, Hudson-Odoi has registered an assist in each of Chelsea's last three games across all competitions and the brace against Austria is just the icing on the cake.

Of course, some Chelsea fans are very impressed with his impact.

Following the win for the England Under-21's, one Chelsea fan did raise a potential injury scare regarding Hudson-Odoi.

The youngster had an ice pack on his thigh after the game and appeared to have been walking gingerly following an post-match interview on the pitch.

The good news for Chelsea fans as well as Lampard is that football.london were also at the game and can confirm Hudson-Odo was absolutely fine a few minutes later.
