Chelsea's 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend was a special one for everyone connected to the west London outfit.
And the victory was made all the more sweeter with Willian scoring both goals.
As the story goes, the Brazilian was set to sign for Spurs in the summer of 2013 only for the Blues to swoop in at the last minute and the rest as they say is history.
Ahead of the meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Blues made sure to stoke the fire with a video clip posted on social media.
During the video, fans are seen making jokes at their rivals' expense, while Willian is seen smiling and laughing after being asked whether Tottenham paid for his flight to London before he signed for Chelsea.
In the exchange, the Brazilian is asked: "Tottenham, did they really pay for your flight?"
In response, Willian just laughs, while a second man says: “I bet they regret not buying you a return as well."
But did the Brazilian make a reference to the plane story after breaking the deadlock in the Blues' win at the weekend?
Well, that seems to be the theory among some Chelsea supporters on Reddit.
One fan says he hopes Willian was being cheeky about his plane celebration.
To which another supporter responds by saying: "He was definitely was being cheeky lol."
Meanwhile another comment reads: "Plane celebration into the classic Drogba."
Blues fans created a song for Willian literally just days after he was unveiled by the Stamford Bridge outfit and can be heard especially when the two teams from the capital lock horns.
The chant goes: 'The ***** from Spurs, they bought his flight,
'But Will-i-an, He saw the light,
'He got the call from Abramovich,
'And off he went to Stamford Bridge,
'And he hates Tottenham, he hates Tottenham, He hates Tottenham and he hates Tottenham'.
