UEFA's latest coefficient rankings have been released ahead of the 2019/20 Champions League and Europa League campaigns.
Chelsea have fallen from 12th place last season to 14th for the new campaign despite winning the Europa League final last season.
These rankings determine a club's seeding in draws and the revenue distribution based on results in the Champions League.
They are formed of match points and bonus points collected by clubs during European competitions over the past five years.
The Blues ranking has fallen as a result of their failure to reach European competitions during the 2016/17 season.
Liverpool are in eighth place despite their Champions League victory with Real Madrid top of the rankings with Atletico Madrid and Barcelona behind them.
Man City are the top ranked English side in sixth place with Arsenal 9th and Man United making up the top ten.
