As far as years in football go, Jorginho's could not have been much better.
We're only in August and the Chelsea midfielder has already won the UEFA Champions League, the European Championships and the UEFA Super Cup - and has been an integral part in all three major honours.
Jorginho has performed so well that he has been tipped to win this year's Ballon d'Or, having been named UEFA men's player of the year on Thursday.
There have also been rumours over his future with the Blues, however.
The Italy international, who turns 30 at the end of the year, has less than two years remaining on his existing contract at Stamford Bridge and a return to his home country has been spoken about.
Jorginho's agent, Joao Santos, has been very vocal about his client's future and has now issued a fresh update on transfer speculation surrounding the Chelsea midfielder.
“He has a two-year contract with Chelsea," Santos said to TuttoMercatoWeb.
"As a philosophy, the club renews contracts when one year is missing. We will see what happens next year.”
Then, when asked about if his client would consider a return to Italy, Santos replied: “Obviously, yes. When you win a European Championship with Italy, the next step can be to play in Italy.
"But now we don’t get hot. Everything changes in a short time."

Santos, as mentioned above, has been very open about Jorginho's future, and earlier in the summer, he confirmed that there was interest from Italian club Juventus.
Quizzed by Calciomercato on whether Juve have sounded out Jorginho, Santos said: "I confirm it, these interests have arrived.
"Of course, at 29 he can do very well in all the top European clubs and many are interested in him."
Jorginho himself, when asked about his future in April, insisted he was "very happy" at Chelsea and was not thinking too far ahead.
“Dude, I’ll tell you the truth. At the moment, how am I going to think about the future two years from now, having what I still have to play this season," Jorginho told TNT Sports.
"Then the Euro is coming. So, honestly, there’s no way to think ahead. In fact, I am very happy here. I am really happy here. So I don’t think about anything else either.
"Now, at the moment, there is no reason to think about what will happen in two years, for example.”
The 29-year-old midfielder has started for Chelsea in both of their opening Premier League matches against Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
