Chelsea players returned to training at their Cobham base back in May ahead of an anticipated return to Premier League action.

However, the situation was not one many would have been used to with the government’s phase one strategy requiring groups of no more than five, staying two metres apart and training for less than 75 minutes.

Phase two, which has seen some of these restrictions relaxed, allows for contact in training but still presents a number of challenges.
