Chelsea star may have already played his final game at Stamford Bridge as offers are confirmed

Olivier Giroud has three offers from unnamed English clubs as his Chelsea stay looks to be drawing to a close.

That is according to the striker's agent Vincenzo Morabito, who has also revealed how close the Frenchman was to leaving Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.

"Manuello and I met with AC Milan at the end of the January transfer window," Morabito told Calciomercato. "They confirmed how highly they rate Giroud, although they said they were considering younger players for their attack.

"However we have remained in contact with them, and we will see what happens in the future. There was the possibility of Giroud moving to Italy in January.

"We spoke with both Juventus and with Roma, when they thought that Edin Dzeko would leave for Inter Milan.

"Now Manuello is weighing up various offers for Giroud. Three have come in from English clubs.

"But there are also interesting situations for him in Spain and Germany."

Giroud's contract at Chelsea expires at the end of next month and amid talk of a new striker being signed this summer, it would appear that he will leave on a free transfer.

Despite never being a regular in the side under Frank Lampard or Thomas Tuchel this season, the 34-year-old has still weighed in with 11 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions.

Six of which have come in the Champions League and he could sign off from Chelsea with a winner's medal in that competition on May 29 against Manchester City.

With that said, Giroud may have already played his final game at Stamford Bridge in Chelsea colours.

Appearing as a late substitute in the 2-1 win over Leicester City on Tuesday night, it could prove to be Giroud's farewell if he is to move on this summer.

Although, he could yet play at the Bridge next season if he accepts an offer from one of the aforementioned three English clubs.

Since making the move from London rivals Arsenal in January 2018, Giroud has gone one to make more than 100 appearances across all competitions for the Blues, scoring 39 goals.
