Mason Mount has insisted he will force himself to watch Liverpool's trophy celebrations on Wednesday to help spur Chelsea on to a new level next season.
The Reds will be officially handed the Premier League title after their final home match of the season, with a spectacular presentation planned.
Having swept past all before them and winning the title in record-speed, Mount has declared the Reds as worthy winners.
The Blues are hopefully of a top-four finish and FA Cup silverware but sit 30 points adrift of Liverpool.
With Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner through the door, Frank Lampard's side are hopeful of closing that gap.
With that in mind, Mount has insisted he will stay and watch the trophy celebrations as inspiration for next season.
“I’m a winner so I don’t like watching other people win," said Mount.
"It’s hard to watch someone else win. They are worthy winners.
“When you watch something like that it will give us extra motivation to win and to make sure we finish this season in the top four.
“For a team to be as dominant as they have been this season definitely gives you motivation for next season to match them.
“We played them three times this season and have definitely been getting closer and been competitive with them.
"When you watch that it gives you an extra motivation.”
