Chelsea star Mason Mount gets height and weight changed in latest FIFA 22 squad update

Chelsea star Mason Mount has received an unexpected upgrade to two of his in-game stats in FIFA 22 as part of the latest squad update in FIFA 22.

Mount has had an interesting start to his 2021/22 campaign at Chelsea, with the England international rotating in and out Thomas Tuchel's squad more than usual, with the attacking-midfielder only having registered one assist in nine appearances in all competitions.

However, in the latest FIFA 22 squad update, Mount hasn't received any changes to his playing attributes such as finishing, passing or dribbling. Instead, EA Sports have changed the midfielders height and weight, and he's not the only Chelsea player to have been changed, either.

The FIFA 22 squad updates were released along with the second major update of FIFA 22 since its release, which included some gameplay updates too.

The squad update is available to download now on all platforms including PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

So, how did EA change Mount's height and weight? And what other Chelsea players were affected during the squad update? Let's take a look.

Mason Mount's weight and height both increased in the latest FIFA 22 squad update (FIFA 22)

Height: 178cm - 180cm

Weight: 70kg - 74kg

It was only a minimal change, but Mount has received an increase in his height and weight - going from 178cm (5ft8) to 180cm (5ft9) and also increasing from 70kg (11st) to 74kg (11.7st).

Kai Havertz also saw an increase in his height, increasing from 188cm (6ft1) to 189cm (6ft2), and Callum Hudson Odoi received a downgrade in his height, shrinking from 178cm (5ft8) to 177cm (5ft8) in-game - a minimal difference.

Away from height, Andreas Christensen received a large stat boost in the FIFA 22 update, with his overall rating jumping from 80 to 81 after an impressive start to the season.

Many disagreed with the Danish defender's 80 rating at FIFA's release, but along with the +1 upgrade to his rating, Christiansen has seen his dribbling (66-67), long passing (71-72), ball control (73-74), sprint speed (69-75), reactions (79-82), jumping (75-78), strength (73-74), aggression (73-74), interceptions (82-84), composure (76-77) and defensive awareness (83-85) all upgraded.

Thiago Silva received a +1 in his long passing (80-81), whilst Ben Chilwell saw his long shots increase from 42 to 44 after his strike against Brentford last weekend.
