Chelsea star Jorginho responds to talk he could follow Maurizio Sarri to Juventus this summer

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has quashed talk that he could potentially follow Maurizio Sarri to Juventus this summer.

A key player for Napoli following his move from Verona in 2014, the 27-year-old joined the manager in moving to Stamford Bridge last July in a big-money move having looked destined for Man City.

There are big question marks over Sarri's future in west London at present despite leading the team to two cup finals and third in the Premier League.

Reports from Italy on Monday evening stated that Frank Lampard will replace the 60-year-old in the hotseat in the summer, with Sarri returning back home to take on the top job in Turin.

Quizzed by Sky Sport Italia about his future in the capital if indeed the manager does depart, Jorginho has dismissed talk he will return to Italy and move to the Bianconeri.

"I have four years on my contract with Chelsea," he said, as reported by Football Italia . "I’d be surprised he [Sarri] did leave, because we are third in the Premier League behind Manchester City and Liverpool, we’re in the Europa League Final and reached the Carabao Cup Final.

"It has been a positive season. Sarri is relaxed, even more so now than in other stages of the campaign."

Coming in for much criticism from fans about his displays for the Europa League finalists, Jorginho has claimed he is very happy with how things have gone in his first season ahead of next Wednesday's final against Arsenal.

"It will be our 63rd competitive match of the season and obviously those start to weigh on you," he added. "I see this as a very positive campaign.

"It’s only natural that at a club like Chelsea, there is going to be all this pressure. There will always be criticism, but I remained calm and relaxed.

"I’ll always have something new to learn and I’ve seen consistent growth throughout the season."
