Chelsea striker Timo Werner has been praised for his role in the Blues' third goal during their win over Leeds United on Saturday night.
The German helped round off the scoring when he supplied the assist for Christian Pulisic in a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge.
Olivier Giroud and Kurt Zouma also got on the scoresheet as Frank Lampard's side completed a fine comeback win against Marcelo Bielsa's Whites.
Pundit and former Chelsea goalkeeper Rob Green highlighted the work of Werner though for his contribution to the final goal on the night.
“You've got to give credit to Timo Werner," he said on Sky Sports.
“He struggled in front of goal and we laughed at half time with the opportunities he had.
“We criticised Manchester United with the willingness to run-in behind.
"But he ran in front of Frank Lampard in the dugout in the 93rd minute against a team that are the fittest team in the league, and showed composure at the end of it to put that perfectly weighted cross in [for Pulisic].”
It was Werner's fifth successive game for Chelsea without scoring.
The £45m summer signing from RB Leipzig has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances for club and country so far this season.
Next up for Chelsea is Krasnodar in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
