Chelsea's striker shortlist revealed as Jude Bellingham is lined up for £100m summer transfer

Here's all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.

Tuchel transcript

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel faced the media ahead of the Manchester City FA Cup semi-final clash and the main talking point from his press conference was about his respect for Pep Guardiola.

"Huge influence because when he was coach of Barcelona, I was watching almost every game. I was very impressed by the way they made success happen with the style they were playing: the academy guys, offensive football, ball possession.

"The most impressive thing about the team was the mentality of how they defended when they lost the ball. I learned a lot from watching the games and understanding more of the game; how adventurous and brave you can approach games.

"So it was a big, big lesson. At this time I was a coach at the academy and then became a coach at Mainz.

"Almost every game was a lesson in these days and then later we had the opportunity to play against him.

"It wasn't always a pleasure but then you arrive at a certain level and it was a pleasure to meet him and play against him at the highest level."

Chelsea's four-man striker shortlist

A new forward who can add greater firepower to Chelsea's attack is one of this summer’s key objectives.

There’s been a number of big names linked to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.

Mainly Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.

£100m for Bellingham

Chelsea are interested in signing Haaland's teammate in Jude Bellingham this summer.

That is according to Eurosport, who claim the Blues are now plotting a £100million summer move for the box-to-box midfielder and are the club most interested in his services.

In addition, the report states that there is now a growing feeling that Bellingham would be the better fit than Declan Rice - a target for former head coach Frank Lampard - at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool are also said to be monitoring Bellingham's developments from afar, but it is claimed that Chelsea are the side with the greatest interest.

The midfielder scored in Dortmund's Champions League exit against Manchester City earlier in the week and is already a full England international.

But will he be a Chelsea player next season?
