Tammy Abraham is looking to fight for his place for the Chelsea squad, and there were two very contrasting moments against Barcelona which showed his skills.
Frank Lampard has reportedly given the 21-year-old assurances that he will get playing time with the Blues, however his finishing will have to be more consistent over the course of the campaign.
Abraham did some excellent work in the pre-season friendly against the Catalan giants, however his one moment to pounce on chance went completely by him.
Christian Pulisic cut in from the left and fired in a shot that Marc-André ter Stegen did well to parry out, and the ball landed straight to Abraham.
However, the England international missed the goal completely from just a couple of yards out and the chance went begging.
But then just moments later he made up for it with a lovely finish. After Jorginho won the ball, Abraham got through and lovely feet saw him slot it into the back of the net.
Lampard is looking to pick his main striker between Abraham, Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud ahead of the Premier League campaign on August 11.
And Blues fans are looking at Abraham to be the man to lead the line, despite the pretty shocking first miss.
