Chelsea's next six Premier League fixtures compared to title rivals Liverpool and Man City

Chelsea secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Leeds United on Saturday afternoon thanks to a late penalty from Jorginho.

The Whites took the lead at Stamford Bridge thanks to a penalty from Raphinha, but Mason Mount was on hand to level the clash on 42 minutes.

Jorginho then put the Blues ahead through his first penalty of the match, before Joe Gelhardt equalised for the visitors at Stamford Bridge with less than 10 minutes of normal time remaining.

However, Chelsea were awarded another spot kick deep into stoppage time and Jorginho held his nerve once again to secure the three points for the hosts.

With Liverpool and Manchester City also picking up maximum points - with 1-0 wins against Aston Villa and Wolves, respectively - the win was made even more important for Thomas Tuchel and his team as they look to keep tabs with their Premier League title rivals.

With all this being said, football.london takes a look at Chelsea's next six fixtures in the Premier League and compares them to what Liverpool and Man City have coming up soon.

Everton at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening as the Blues look for back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

Rafa Benitez will be desperate to get one over on his former club, though, as he looks to turn the Toffees' recent fortunes around.

Wolves at Molineux

Just a few days later on Sunday, December 19, Chelsea make the trip to the Midlands to take on Wolves.

In their past two games, Bruno Lage's side have faced Liverpool and Manchester City - and have perhaps been unfortunate to come out with zero points after back-to-back 1-0 defeats.

Aston Villa at Villa Park

Chelsea stay in the Midlands and take on Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa side on Boxing Day in the Premier League.

Gerrard has got his Villa team playing some good football and they were perhaps unfortunate to come away with nothing on Saturday afternoon as they were beaten 1-0 by Liverpool at Anfield.

Brighton at Stamford Bridge

December 29 sees Chelsea return to Stamford Bridge as they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to west London.

The Seagulls made a really promising start to the Premier League season, but have somewhat tailed off in recent weeks.

Liverpool at Stamford Bridge

The first of two absolutely massive games in this season's Premier League title race: Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

The two sides could not be separated in the reverse fixture at Anfield and Chelsea will be looking to make home advantage count on January 2 as the Reds come to town.

Man City at the Etihad Stadium

The second of the absolutely crucial double-header as Chelsea travel to Manchester City on January 15.

Pep Guardiola has once again got his team looking in tip-top condition as they look to retain their Premier League title.
