Chelsea's new Nike home kit 'leaked' as Tottenham hint at possible release date

Chelsea are likely to get a look at their new home kit for next season in the coming weeks.

It's now tradition for clubs to show off their next kit at the end of the previous season, instead of during the pre-season, meaning Chelsea will almost certainly wear their new kit between now and the final game of the season.

And what's more, Tottenham, whose kits are also manufactured by Nike, have confirmed their home shirt for the new season will be released ahead of May 15, suggesting Chelsea won't be far behind.

But we have already been given a sneak peek at what the new kit could look like thanks to a 'leak', something we have become used to in recent years.

Secrets are hard to come by in football, and it's even harder to keep new kits hidden away, especially with fans desperate for an early look at the new designs.

FootyHeadlines posted a 'leaked' new home Chelsea kit recently from Twitter, and it's fair to say the shirt is...busy.

It's a two-tone blue with zig-zags spread out along the shirt before it switched to chequers at the shoulder, continuing onto one sleeve.

It also has a yellow trim running under the arm and down onto the shorts with the Nike logo also yellow, while the Three sponsorship logo is white.

The shorts are an equally busy design to the shirt, and the yellow is certainly an eye-catching addition.

Just whether the leaked kit will turn out to be the real one remains to be seen, but the leaks also include a ranger of training wear that matches, with the yellow trim also featured.

It's reported the shirt and training wear could be available from May, but Chelsea are yet to confirm when their new kit will debut or when it will be officially on sale.
