Chelsea's Marina Granovskaia shows Edu how to fix transfer woes at Arsenal

Arsenal still have everything to play for in the final hours of the transfer window as Edu continues to offload a host of players from London Colney, meanwhile, Chelsea's Marina Granovskaia has presented yet another ins-and-outs clinic.

A handful of Gunners have been linked to moves away from north London this summer, however, the Arsenal hierarchy haven't been able to tend to each player's needs which have seen Ainsley Maitland-Niles take to social media to fuel his discontent, symbolising the side's current affairs.

The failure to manage the off-field harmony among Mikel Arteta's squad thus far hampers the Spaniard chances of reviving Arsenal's uninspiring start to the season by forcing the Gunners boss to work with players who do not want to be at the club.

Maitland-Niles took to Instagram to express his concern at not being granted a move away from north London, meanwhile, Hector Bellerin has only just been given the green light for a move despite reportedly telling Arsenal he wanted to leave earlier in the summer.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were also reportedly poised for moves away from the Emirates before the former retracted his desire to leave once the season had commenced, while the latter decided to merely see out his contract according to our chief Arsenal Correspondent, Chris Wheatley.

Granit Xhaka led the Gunners out on the opening day of the Premier League, captaining the side, despite being reportedly keen to leave Arsenal and agreeing to personal terms with AS Roma earlier in the summer, according to Calciomercato.

The Arsenal board's inability to tend to the demands of their players who do not see their futures at the club will have hindered Arteta's management, highlighting the monumental success of the Blues' transfer chief, Granovskaia.

Chelsea have overseen the permanent and temporary departures of 18 different contracted first-team players this summer, compared to Arsenal's six.

Although the Blues infamously have more players on their books, the principles are still at large with Granovskaia's ruthless culling playing a significant role in maintaining squad harmony and success.

Chelsea's director, who joined the club board in 2013, is highly regarded as one of football's most powerful negotiators sealing huge coups; whether it was harvesting the Blues' record-breaking £900m new Nike deal or forking out an initial £89m from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard despite having just one-year on his contract.

Her ruthlessness in the market has earned herself a reputation that has ensured that Roman Abramovich's Chelsea is in-line and finely oiled, crying out for Arsenal's Edu to take note.

Granovskaia has demonstrated the importance of having a close relationship with the head coach to work coherently in order to fine-tune the squad ahead of the season.

And, unfortunately for Arsenal, Edu's lack of communication with Arteta is coming to a head as the club clamber to seal outgoings on deadline day.

The respective directors of the London clubs operate on parallel frequencies and Chelsea's success in recent years is no coincidence; a major factor of which stems from Granovskaia's swift manner in which business is completed.
